Amid Split, Brandon Jenner and Leah Felder Are Still "Bonded by a Deep Connection That Is Rooted in Love"

Brandon Jenner is splitting from wife of six years Leah Felder, with whom he is in the indie pop group Brandon & Leah. Both husband and wife announced the breakup via a written post on Instagram.

"After celebrating fourteen beautiful years together, we have lovingly come to the decision to end the romantic aspect of our relationship," they wrote. "We are deeply proud of the life we’ve cultivated together and are truly grateful for the bond of friendship we hold and cherish today. It is stronger than ever. Even though we have chosen to separate as a couple, we still love one another very, very much and remain a major part of each other’s lives — as best friends, family and loving parents to our daughter. There has been no lying or cheating or fighting that prompted this change, just an expansion of our individual evolution which has inspired us to support each other in a new way. We are still, very much, a loving family and are bonded by a deep connection that is rooted in love.”

Brandon's mother Linda Thompson reacted to the news with her own Instagram post by saying they'd "forever remain a family," adding, "Life & Love are both unpredictable, yet beautiful gifts in any incarnation. Thank you to all our friends & family, near & far, for your loving best wishes."

Brandon's dad Caitlyn Jenner recently brought her rumored girlfriend Sophia Hutchins to see him compete at the Malibu Chili Cook-Off, but Caitlyn hasn't been seen publicly with son Brody Jenner this year. She famously skipped his May wedding in Bali (as did his sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner). And Linda Thompson wasn't too happy about that.

"Yes, it’s on the other side of the world… But I would’ve gone to the moon and back to share in the joy of my darling son & his beautiful bride getting married! That’s what parents do!," she shaded on social media.
