Steve Gold’s Hair Is Long Again, and He’s Styling It in Amazing Ways (PICS)
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent is showing off his new ’do.
Steve Gold had a flowing mane when Bravo audiences first met him. So when the Million Dollar Listing New York agent cut his hair in 2018, it came as a shock to some MDL fans — and to Ryan Serhant! “Dude, you’re like Thor… you’re like Chris Hemsworth,” Steve’s castmate said at the time. “I liked the long hair.”
Explaining the reason for his new hairstyle, Steve said: “I mean, I always go through phases throughout my life with the length of my hair, and I think I got tired of [it being long]… Just hearing ‘man bun’ over and over again, like, you know, you put your hair up when you don’t want it in your face if you have long hair, you’ll realize that. I don’t think the length of my hair has any correlation with the business that I do. I think I’m still the same person regardless, but, I think, it’s different. I mean, I was ready for a haircut.”
Fast-forward to 2023 and Steve is in a long-haired phase once again. In fact, the agent’s recent Instagram photos showed off a mane that’s longer and lusher than ever before. And yes, the man bun is back too.

In his Instagram photos from August 24, Steve could be seen sitting on a stoop as he basked in some rays of sunshine. “Summer’s lease hath all too short a date,” he wrote in his caption. What was not short: Steve’s hair.
The photos showed the New York dad with lush, curled locks that reached his shoulders. Another Instagram post showed his mane pulled back into a classic man-bun style. Behold Steve’s latest hairdo — and how he’s been styling it — in the pics below.
The Many Hairstyles of Steve Gold
Steve’s new locks may be lustrous, but don’t get too comfortable with them. In the clip above, the former model reiterates that he has a tendency to switch up his look.
“I’ve been [hearing] a lot that I look like Jon Snow,” he says, referencing the long-haired Game of Thrones character.
Steve continued: “I’ve had my hair long for a long time, and then I’ve had it short, and I kinda go through different styles as well with my hair. I think [the Jon Snow comparison] is a compliment. I’ll take a compliment, sure.”
