Fredrik Eklund Celebrated 1 Year of Sobriety in the Sweetest Way
The MDLLA agent commemorated the meaningful day with a delicious dessert.
Fredrik Eklund is celebrating a year of sobriety. The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles cast member commemorated his accomplishment in the sweetest way: with his family and a tasty dessert.
In honor of the meaningful day, Fredrik’s husband Derek Kaplan surprised him with a tall round chocolate cake from SusieCakes. The delicious, multi-layer confection was topped with a special message that read, “Remember ‘Progress, Not Perfection,’” written out in red frosting.
Derek also included a heartfelt card along with the mouthwatering treat. “Congratulations on your 1 year anniversary. Love you! XOX,” the note said.
Fredrik couldn’t help but get emotional over the important milestone, taking to Instagram to share his gratitude for his journey and the loved ones who have supported him along the way. “1 year today and it feels amazing! It’s an emotional but beautiful morning for sure,” he wrote in the caption of the photo.
He went on to add, “Thank you @derekkaplanart for the cake and love, and to all those who’s supported me in this.”
