Heavenly Kimes Was Completely Shocked by Daughter Alaura’s New Hair
The Married to Medicine cast member couldn’t contain her feelings when she saw what her teenage daughter did to her hair.
As the boss behind the beauty supply store Heavenly Beauty, Dr. Heavenly Kimes (naturally) has a lot of opinions about all things beauty. And as we’ve seen time and time again on Married to Medicine, when Heavenly has an opinion about something, she isn’t afraid to make it known.
Most recently, Heavenly had a lot (and we mean a lot) to say about her daughter Alaura’s latest hair change. Alaura is “the face” of Heavenly Beauty, so she’s got lots of great hairstyles up her sleeve, but her latest look left her mom with some questions.
In a July 15 video posted to Heavenly’s Instagram page, Heavenly shows her daughter in the styling chair while getting her tresses prepped. “I just want to talk to the lady that’s doing my baby girl’s hair,” Heavenly begins. “I know you did not make my damn child’s hair [orange]. Like, y’all did not do this! ... Why is her hair orange?!” In the video, Alaura tries to quickly cover her hair with a towel, while the hairstylist promises, “It’s going to look real good.”
Thankfully, it seems the hairstylist was right. The next day, Heavenly returned to Instagram to share a glowing photo of Alaura’s finished locks and the fresh color suited her beautifully.
