Savannah Chrisley Reveals the Hair Emergency That Forced Her to Chop It All Off

Savannah Chrisley threw us for quite the loop when she debuted a brand new super dramatic short haircut on October 15. The Chrisley Knows Best blonde surprised fans when she showed off her chopped crop hairstyle, and she even took the opportunity to share an empowering message in the process. She wrote, "Ladies...do what YOU want to do. Don’t base your looks, opinions, beliefs, etc on a man and what HE wants. It’s our world and they just live in it." Preach. 

Fans have continued to ask about her decision to switch up her hair, so Savannah finally revealed the real reason behind the totally different 'do. In a recent Instagram Live, Savannah opened up about the harrowing hair mishap that led to her new look and the emotional day it happened.

"I've always wanted to cut my hair since Miley Cyrus did hers super short," she explained. "But then, recently, I think I got my hair colored too close in time by two different people. And I don't know what happened, but it just fried my hair. So I kinda had no choice because literally back here it was just a straight line cut with bleach. It was not a good day for Savannah. So, finally I just was like I'm gonna cut it. I did it and I love it."

So there you go! No wonder she confessed that she needed "an extra boost of confidence" after the cut. Haters can keep hating, but Savannah is loving her look.
