Parachute and A.L.C. Just Launched the Most Heavenly Line of Silk Sleepwear

Here at The Lookbook, our love of Parachute is well-documented. It makes the coziest bath towels and our favorite robes, but its newest launch might just be its most exciting yet.

Parachute just announced a new collaboration with A.L.C. and it's all about the most heavenly fabric: silk. The home essentials brand and the women's fashion label have teamed on a limited-edition capsule collection featuring pajama sets, a robe, pillow cases, and an eye mask, all made from 100 percent silk. Here's why we're so excited: Besides looking and feeling like absolute luxury, silk has actual benefits for your skin and hair. It's less absorbent than cotton, so it doesn't pull as much moisture from your skin. Sleeping on silk pillowcases has been known to diminish those post-sleep skin creases on your face and help alleviate bedhead. 

We got a chance to test the stylish pjs, and the buttery soft crepe de Chine silk fabric is sure to elevate your sleep experience. But honestly, the pjs are so gorgeous, we may find ourselves wearing them outside the bedroom more than anything — after all, sleepwear as streetwear is really hot these days. 

The sleep set comes in two chic colorways — a black and white stripe with hints of pink and a muted blush with black piping — that make a statement without being flashy. There's beauty in the details, too: a slightly puffed shoulder, a ruched high waistband, the cropped pant length. We paired them with strappy black heel sandals and we're pretty sure it's our new night out look.
