Jessica Simpson Reveals Jaw-Dropping New Photo After Losing 100lbs. in 6 Months
Jessica Simpson, who gave birth to her third child in March, is "proud to feel like myself again."
Jessica Simpson is not messing around when it comes to getting back in shape. Just six months after giving birth to her third child, Birdie Mae, the singer/fashion designer has reached a major milestone in her fitness journey.
On Tuesday, Simpson took to social media to proudly share an update on her weight loss venture. "6 months. 100 pounds down (Yes, I tipped the scales at 240 ?)," Simpson wrote alongside a photo of herself cutting a slim figure in a floor-length, bell-sleeved black dress.
She continued, "My first trip away from #BIRDIEMAE and emotional for many reasons, but so proud to feel like myself again. Even when it felt impossible, I chose to work harder."
Simpson, who shares three kids with husband Eric Johnson, has been working with celebrity fitness trainer Harley Pasternak and trainer Sydney Liebes to help drop the weight. Pasternak also joined Simpson in celebrating her success by reposting her photo.
"Beyond proud of this incredible woman. Been working together for over 12 years and she’s always the most warm, sweet, polite, and respectful person in the world. And on top of it all, after being nonstop pregnant for as long as I can remember, she’s down 100 pounds and looks younger today than she was when we met," he wrote.
Fans and fellow celebs, including The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards, quickly flooded Simpson's IG post with positive comments.
"Gorgeous !!!!" the 'Wife wrote.
"You look amazing!!" Katie Couric added.
"Wowza lady, you look ??????," January Jones shared.
It sure is great to see Simpson feeling great again, especially after enduring a difficult pregnancy. The blonde stunner faced several health struggles during her term including sciatica pain, bronchitis, and severely swollen ankles.
