Heather Dubrow Takes a Stand on This Controversial Fashion Statement

Heather Dubrow's closet might be filled with an epic collection of always-classic Chanel bags, but The Real Housewives of Orange County alum isn't afraid to put her own spin on a fashion trend — even one that's controversial. Heather just stepped out yesterday evening for an event, and she dressed head to toe in an aubergine/oxblood red palette, from her sleek long-sleeve dress to her sky-high stilettos. There was one exception: She added in a contrasting pair of ankle socks to go with those heels.

Heather made her position on the "socks paired with heels" look quite clear. She wrote in the caption of her Instagram: "I love socks!!! @fendi!!!" 

OK, this is a trend that could go really wrong, but Heather is showing us how to make socks look incredibly glamorous (a little Fendi doesn't hurt either).
