Monroe's Latest Hairstyle Is Proof Gage Edward Has Serious "Dad Skills"

Gage Edward may be a skilled businessman, but it looks like he’s been focusing on building up a whole new talent lately. It turns out that the Flipping Out dad is pretty great at doing hair, and his 3-year-old daughter Monroe’s most recent look is proof.  

In an Instagram Story posted on June 23, Gage showed off his most recent accomplishment and posted a photo of his daughter’s adorable hairstyle. Her long blonde hair was neatly pulled up into a ponytail, which Gage then perfectly braided and secured with some simple white hair ties. 

Gage proudly displayed his work, captioning the photo, “Dad skills.” Perhaps he can add “hairstylist” to his already impressive resume at some point in the future?

Although we can only see Monroe’s cute little hairstyle from the back, there’s no denying that this sweet girl is seriously growing up. Normally, Monroe wears her hair down, and this ponytail is definitely serving major big girl vibes.

Braided ponytails aren’t the only indicator that Monroe is growing up. Gage recently set her up with a big girl bed, and although it looks absolutely beautiful, she’s not entirely sold on sleeping in it just yet. With a little bit of unconventional convincing, Gage was able to distract Monroe from trying to snooze on their couch. In a May 25 Instagram story, Gage revealed he told her that the sofa was “closed,” which meant she’d have to sleep in her new bed. 

Monroe eventually admitted that she does love her new sleeping situation, “but sometimes I don’t like my big girl. ‘Cause it’s too long! I can’t sleep in it.” She’s too adorable!
