See Inside Amrit Kapai's "Beautiful" New Apartment with His Boyfriend, Nicholas
The Family Karma cast member shares a chic new "glorified studio" in Miami Beach with his love.
After nearly a month of living in his parents' home with his boyfriend, Nicholas, Amrit Kapai was ready to finally settle into a new Miami Beach apartment with his love. However, not everyone was totally enthused about the big move. Although Amrit declared on Family Karma's June 2 episode, "Nicholas is so excited about moving out of my parents' house," Amrit's mother, Lavina, suggested, "Maybe you should stay home."
Before the couple officially moved in, Brian Benni and Vishal Parvani came to visit Amrit at the new digs, and they were blown away. "Amrit's adulting way too hard right now. He's making all of us look bad," Brian said. "He's just movin' on up."
While Amrit had seen the apartment on multiple occasions before he and Nicholas packed their bags, Nicholas was moving into the home sight unseen. "When I was checking out the apartment, Nicholas, unfortunately, couldn't join me because he was teaching," Amrit explained. "But I'm hoping he thinks this is a step in the right direction."
Much to Amrit's relief, Nicholas was also obsessed with the home. "Oh it's a corner unit!" he said as he walked in. "This is beyond incredible."
Amrit noted, "This is like a good first-time apartment in Miami," and after Nicholas mused about a house with a nursery, Amrit quipped in an interview: "Let's just see how it works out with both of us living in a glorified studio."
