Kim Zolciak-Biermann Was "Torn" About Sharing This Moment of Her Life
The Don't Be Tardy mom gets real about this emotional turn of events.
Kim Zolciak-Biermann has spent a good part of a decade letting viewers into her life — both the good and the bad moments on both Don't Be Tardy and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. And while she's always been very open with her fans about the events of her life, she recently felt some reservations about being so candid. As we saw this season on Don't Be Tardy, viewers were taken inside the experience and accident that left Kash injured after he was bit by a family dog.
"What is this? Ten years I've been on television — this is probably one episode I won't watch," she shared with The Daily Dish ahead of the episode airing. The incident took place back in April and Kim had kept the details around the accident mostly private until now.
In the end, Kim felt more comfortable about sharing this moment knowing that it might serve to help others. "Obviously the situation with Kash was just very unexpected and we were really torn on sharing and not sharing it," she said. "I mean, he's our 4-year-old little boy and this was so traumatic for our family. But we decided to use the incredible platform that we have with all our followers and educate people on the fact that it can happen to anyone. I mean to anyone."
