Aesha Scott Opens Up About Making Changes to Her Health After Being “So Underweight”
The Below Deck Down Under chief stew noted how she’s been focused on “building muscle.”
Back in December 2022, we caught up with Aesha Scott after she decided to give herself an unexpected cosmetic touch-up: hand injections.
“You know how I always go on about how I’ve got very geriatric hands? Look at those sun spots,” the Below Deck Down Under cast member shared in an Instagram Story video. “So I am going to [New Zealand’s Cashmore Clinic] today and I’m gonna get hyaluronic injections in my hands and I’m gonna try and make them look more like a 31-year-old.” Following the treatment, Aesha detailed each step of the process, adding how “excited” she was to see the results that were set to make her hands look “more full of life.”
In addition to that beauty change, Aesha recently revealed to fans another transformation, this time focusing on her overall physical health.

In addition to her cosmetic procedure, Aesha updated her followers with a July 15 bikini photo shared on Instagram and detailed certain aspects of her health journey.
“Since I came out of the jungle I have been focusing on building muscle! I got so underweight in there it looked like I’d snap in half,” the chief stew began the post, referencing her recent appearance on the Australian TV series I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!
Aesha went on to explain her exercise regimen and how she focused on building muscle.
“The first time I went to the gym afterwards with [my boyfriend] Scott I did about 10 light squats and 10 lunges and I had to stop, I was sooo weak and I was SO sore the next day,” she shared. “I slowly built it up and now I can do everything and I am [loving] feeling strong and healthy!!!”

As mentioned in her caption, Aesha was excited to hit the gym with her boyfriend, Scott Dobson. The pair, who became Instagram official in July 2020, are still going strong today (in the metaphorical and physical sense, apparently!).
“I’m so in love with him,” she told The Daily Dish in an exclusive interview published in January. “We’re coming up on three years now and I just still adore every single part of him. So I feel very lucky.”
She continued: “We went to Ecuador for a couple of weeks, which was cool, and then I went back to New Zealand and Scott actually came a month early and surprised me for my birthday.”
