Katie & Tom Schwartz Discovered a New, Slightly Scary Way to Do Tequila Shots
The Vanderpump Rules couple is having a liquor-drenched vacation in Mexico.
Between owning a restaurant, tending bar, and waiting tables at some major Hollywood hotspots, Tom Schwartz and his wife, Katie Maloney-Schwartz, know a few inventive ways to get buzzed —but it'd be tough to top taking tequila shots out of a giant silver leaf.
The Vanderpump Rules lovebirds are currently in Mexico, where they're taking in the local culture — and more than a few sips of Patron tequila. As both SURvers documented on Instagram Stories, one dinner out involved several large-format cocktails, as well as tequila shots poured table-side. However, these weren't poured into typical glasses.
Instead, servers holding long silver leaves (the very same ones mentioned above) poured tequila down the fixture, and directly into Tom and Katie's mouths. It's an intriguing, and just slightly scary, way to get tipsy. So, it's a good thing these two are total pros when it comes to cocktail-ing.
