Here's What Tom Schwartz Really Thinks of Katie Maloney-Schwartz's "Karen Haircut"
The Vanderpump Rules husband clarified his reaction to his wife's new short hairstyle.
In the November 13 episode of Vanderpump Rules, the Rachella music festival wasn't the only new thing making a buzz in Palm Springs. Katie Maloney-Schwartz's short hairstyle stirred up a conversation between her and Tom Schwartz — and Tom had some thoughts about the look.
In the episode, Katie was sporting a chic bob haircut, which fell just past her chin. "Do I look bad?" she asked her husband. To her surprise, his response was not exactly what she was hoping for.
"No, you look cute," he began. "Your hair is a little bit of a 'Karen haircut,' though," he told Katie, who looked stunned.
Katie defended her hairstyle by telling Tom, "No, it's not."
It seems, however, Tom may have had a change of heart. On November 30, he took to social media to set the record straight on his true feelings about the haircut. "Life pro tip: never tell your wife she has a Karen haircut" he wrote. "Jokes aside I love her hair so much it’s [fire]."
Katie has never been afraid to try a different 'do, changing up her former long hair to a wavy lob, face-framing layers, and other cute styles.
