Stassi Schroeder Wishes She Had This One Thing While Self-Isolating
On the Vanderpump Rules star's wishlist: a kitchen appliance familiar to RHONY viewers.
As Stassi Schroeder is homebound amid the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the Vanderpump Rules star could use a long-awaited household appliance to keep her meals interesting. Stassi, who has documented herself watching past episodes of The Real Housewives of New York City throughout her time in self-isolation, explained in a March 26 tweet: "Sonja’s toaster oven would really come in handy right now."
The kitchen appliance in question, as RHONY fans know, is the toaster oven that Sonja Morgan had in the works with Heather Thomson several years ago, but it never ended up hitting shelves. The toaster was the cause of many heated conversations among the Housewives, including one particularly explosive argument between Sonja and Kristen Taekman (relive the drama in the video above!).
While the appliance hasn't yet made its way to kitchens worldwide, The Daily Beast reported in a 2019 profile of Sonja that it may still hit shelves one day. In 2016, Sonja revealed in a separate interview that she was putting it on hold to focus on her other businesses. "It’s always been in the works," she said. "I clearly have a prototype made, which you saw on the show. What was initially started with Heather on the show was getting a brand ID and a logo."
While Stassi may have to wait a bit longer to get her hands on the appliance, she seems to be making do with the state-of-the-art oven in her newly-renovated kitchen. Earlier this month, the Next Level Basic author showed off a cake she had made for her fiancé Beau's 40th birthday, calling the finished product "a freakin homemade masterpiece."
