Scheana Shay & Lala Kent Just Got the Most Meaningful New Tattoos (PICS)
The Vanderpump Rules moms got some very special ink during a pal’s party, and we’re obsessed.
Over the years, we’ve caught up with Lala Kent and Scheana Shay as they’ve showed off their various tattoos, which include an orca, a poppy flower, an ode to cats, and more.
In the above video, Lala details her “first tattoo ever,” which were the initials of her ex, Randall Emmett. Lala ultimately wasn’t satisfied with the positioning of the letters (“The ‘E’ was so crooked”) and ended up getting a lion tattoo to cover it up.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member went on to get a “Rand” tattoo on her upper arm in 2020, only to change that one to “bRand New” after she and Randall split in 2021.
“You changed your ‘Rand’ tattoo to ‘bRand New,’” Andy Cohen said in April 2022 when Lala was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. “Has he reacted to that?”
“I wouldn’t know,” Lala said at the time.
More recently, the California mom got some fresh ink, this time with a very special person in mind — oh yeah, and Scheana joined in on the fun of getting new body art.

On July 29, Scheana took to her Instagram Stories to share some behind-the-scenes action at a pal’s party, showing how tattoo artist Greg Orduno was on hand for spur-of-the-moment tattoos.
“Tattoos at the party! Why not?” Scheana exclaimed in a video with the tattoo artist. She then took a photo of Lala also having her ink done, showing how the Give Them Lala Beauty founder was getting a design on her hand.
The ladies then put their tattoos on display in a photo, showing that Scheana got her daughter's name, Summer, on her inner arm, while Lala inked the top of her hand with an O, for her daughter Ocean.
The ladies took the snap with Vanderpump Rules alum Brittany Cartwright, who also honored her son, Cruz, whom she shares with Jax Taylor.

Great moms think alike — and that’s sort of the MO for Scheana and Lala, who recently had an adorable unintentional twinning moment.
On July 18, Scheana’s husband, Brock Davies, took to Instagram to document a vacation the crew took to Lake Tahoe. Ahead of their voyage to the idyllic Nevada locale, Brock snapped a photo of how Lala and Scheana were dressed for the occasion — and it was basically the same look of black sweatpants, black tank tops, sneakers, and baseball caps.
“Unplanned matching,” Brock wrote over the snap, in which both women flashed peace signs and kissy faces at the camera.
