Kristina Kelly Just Launched Her "Dream" Company with the "Perfect" First Item (PICS)
The Vanderpump Rules friend spent two years creating "the type of item people immediately notice."
Kristina Kelly is adding clothing designer to her resumé. Nearly seven years after the Vanderpump Rules friend created her skincare company, HeartSpring, she launched her new fashion brand, VICENTE, on September 29.
"VICENTE is our dream project and a labor [of] love by two friends," Kristina wrote in a September 18 Instagram post. "We all have dreams and to create something from the ground up and design our own garment, the perfect slip dress, was one of ours. We asked ourselves, what does it take to make a statement piece that stands out amongst your favorite dresses?"
Details on Kristina Kelly's clothing company, VICENTE
In her caption, Kristina noted that she and her co-founder Keely Brittles "spent two years on this concept perfecting every aspect of it starting with sourcing that buttery and luminous silk to designing the perfect shape and fit, altogether creating limitless versatility and timeless allure." The result, and the brand's first item launch, is "a dress where elegance and functionality align and the type of item people immediately notice."
"Throughout the design, we’ve finally landed on our staple slip dress THE RUBY," the caption concluded. "And we couldn’t be happier with it."
According to its website, the company aims "to build a wardrobe with only essential items that are versatile and timeless." While it seems there will be more items in the future, the website notes, "We’re starting with ‘THE RUBY’, the perfect slip dress. A silk dress where elegance and functionality meet."
On September 29, Kristina shared photos via Instagram Stories of herself trying on the dresses while she was pregnant with her son, River.
VICENTE's Slip Dress
VICENTE launched on September 29 with the slip dress available in four colors: emerald, ivory, midnight blue, and orange. Each version of the dress is made of 100 percent Charmeuse silk and has adjustable straps.
According to the website, the company's packaging "is made with 100% recycled content, made within the USA, and printed with Algae Ink. The garment bags are compostable."
Kristina Kelly's skincare company, Heartspring
On Season 10 Episode 13 of Vanderpump Rules, Kristina celebrated her skincare company, Heartspring, with a party at Tom Tom. During the event, she reflected on how far the business has come since its initial launch with “three lip balms.”
As the episode showed, Heartspring now also includes face mists, soaps, and body scrubs. On the company's website, Kristina writes, "Launching Heartspring was something that came very natural to me as I felt incredibly passionate about sharing and educating people about the importance of taking care of our bodies and what products we should use."
