Katie Maloney Just Made a Beauty Change: “I Feel Hot Again”
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shared a close-up photo of her eye-catching new beauty move.
At the end of the summer, Katie Maloney celebrated Lala Kent’s early birthday at Bathtub Gin in Los Angeles and gave a peek at her stunning nails in the process. In an Instagram Story, the Vanderpump Rules cast member showed off the speakeasy-style spot’s cool drink coasters and put her long, almond-shaped nails on display.
The unique manicure gave the coolest vibes with a light pink background, silver swirls, and round silver stud embellishments. In an additional peek from Katie’s Instagram Stories, the California resident credited press-on nail company Quickies for the convenient manicure.
Now that fall is just about here, Katie is ready to change it up, pressing on some new nails for the new season.
Katie Maloney shows off a new manicure
On September 18, Katie took to her Instagram Stories to share a look at her fresh manicure — press-on manicure, that is.
“Popped on some nails [from Quickies] and I feel hot again,” she wrote over a video of her new nails, again provided by her go-to press-on nail company. The style was similar to the aforementioned manicure, with a long almond shape, a pinkish background that faded into a soft white, and silver swirl designs.
“Oh and my rings are all from [Etah Love],” Katie added of her various silver rings in different styles and shapes. “[T]hey have the best rings.”
Katie Maloney debuts a copper red hair color
In addition to her latest manicure, Katie recently took on a hair color we hadn’t seen her rock before: a bright copper red.
On September 12, Katie was hanging out in her apartment (the details of which you can see in the video above) when she decided to do some organizing in her bathroom. While taking on the cleaning task, she stumbled upon an old temporary hair color and decided to check it out.
“So earlier I was cleaning out some products, and I found this temporary color styling gel […] and it’s red. It’s supposed to work on brunette hair… so let’s see!” Katie began the video, showing the bright red color of the hair dye in her hand. “Are we seeing this color? OK!”
“This is what we’re left with,” the sandwich shop co-owner noted in a subsequent Story that detailed her in-process color journey.
She continued: “You can’t even see the proper color. It just looks like orange or coppery, but… It’s just wet and stiff right now, but when it air-dries you’re supposed to break up the casting on it or whatever… OK!”
