Katie Maloney Reveals Gorgeous New Look: "Can't Stop Cutting My Hair"

Katie Maloney heads into summer with an updated look.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member returned to social media this week to unveil her stunning and edgier new hairdo. She showed off the change in a June 17 Instagram Story, which provided a 3-second glance at the shortened sides and sleek front. “Can’t stop cutting my hair,” she captioned the video.
Although Katie has been rocking a short ’do for quite some time, her new style is, perhaps, the shortest she’s ever gone. The haircut, which was done by her go-to stylist Mara Aghdami, is a mix between a soft pixie cut and the medium bob she previously sported. The sides and nape were significantly cropped while the front was kept long enough for Katie's signature side part.
Minutes after the big reveal, the former SUR-ver returned to the ‘Gram with another close-up shot of her new look.
“Torn,” she wrote in the post.
The caption was a clear reference to Natalie Imbruglia’s 1997 debut single. The Grammy-nominated hit was accompanied by a now-iconic music video in which the singer donned a short haircut that has become known as the "torn bob."
Bravolebrities react to Katie's new look
Fans and Bravolebrities immediately hopped in the comments section to offer Katie compliments.
“Ahhhhhhh ur so cute,” Summer House alum Hannah Berner wrote.
“I’m DYING OMG,” Vanderpump Rules’ Ariana Madix commented, followed by flame emojis.
Castmate Scheana Shay echoed Ariana’s sentiment and applauded Katie for the "Torn" caption.
Katie unveils her 'do during a night on the town
Katie debuted the hairstyle before hitting the town with a group of friends, including Vanderpump Rules alum Dayna Kathan. She posted a video of her and her girls dancing at The Friend bar in Los Feliz, where she wore a vintage-inspired tee, a short black skirt, a small shoulder bag, and a few pieces of jewelry, including rings, a silver necklace, and a pair of pear diamond huggies by Nicole Rose.
“Never take these out!” she said about the earrings. “Nicole also makes the butterfly necklace I always wear too!”
What's next for Katie?
Katie is now gearing up to launch Something About Her, an upscale sandwich shop she founded with Ariana. The two have been working on the business for the last couple of years, and are expected to open its doors sometime before fall.
