Just days after Stassi Schroeder and Brittany Cartwright clapped back after Katie was body shamed for her Oscars brunch ensemble, Katie is out here rocking a sheer, all-black ensemble with the chicest little beanie hat we ever did see.
On February 10, Katie shared a nonchalant pic on Instagram, proving that she is currently in possession of exactly zero f--ks to give to anyone who has anything bad to say about her look. In the shot, Katie is casually sipping a glass of wine while wearing a semi-sheer black button-down blouse with silk paneling and a black bottom underneath.
Her chestnut locks are a flowing and her bold red lip is popping... but the real MVP of this game-changing look is her hat. Katie's simple black beanie hat features an elegant veil detail and, well, we want one now.
The veiled beanie trend is not exactly new considering that most fashion lovers first spotted the high-low combo accessory on Jil Sander's Spring 2012 runway. Since then, the look has made its way around the DIY fashion circuit and become somewhat of a must-have item for the style-obsessed.
Naturally, Katie is rocking it in her signature style and we love her for it.
