The most anticipated sandwich shop in West Hollywood is set to open soon. For months, Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney have been teasing their Parisian-inspired cafe, Something About Her. But when their opening date — originally set for the spring of 2023 — started to see some delays, the pair began taking to social media to share funny updates with fans.

Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney Share an Update on Something About Her
In a recent TikTok post, Ariana, Katie, and culinary consultant Penny Davidi stood in the trellised interior of the stylish shop. The trio faced a table full of early menu tasters, as a voiceover in the background said: "You like it?"
Next, the camera whirled over to the table, where Vanderpump Rules' Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Ally Lewber, Tom Schwartz, Scheana Shay, and Brock Davies, were all seated. "Pat yourself on the back, girl," the crowd all mouthed together. The caption of the post read: "Perfection takes time!"
It appears that the TikTok video was filmed during a recent Something About Her tasting for the Vanderpump Rules crew, which was also documented on social media. The posts gave us a closer look at the group's snacks, which included sandwiches served on dainty tea trays.
The Menu at Something About Her
Previously, Katie and Ariana have gone into deeper detail about some of the menu items they expect to serve. Back in May 2022, Ariana shared with BravoTV.com at NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation that she wanted to create “a sandwich that involves lots of hot peppers and anything salty, pickled.”
Later, Katie appeared on an episode of Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino, and talked shop. "You’re gonna have a traditional turkey, but maybe with a little bit of spice or kick to it; a spicy Italian; I love a good egg-salad sandwich,” she said. “We gotta have some seasonal salads we can rotate, depending on the time of year… We wanna do beer and wine. Ariana, she can make a lot of wine-based cocktails. She has the skills for that.”
But whatever the two will serve when the eatery opens, it's clear from the TikTok post below that early tasters are pleased — and happy to taste some superior bread in the name of research.
