Lala Kent Gets Fired Up About the "Sourpuss Trolls" Insulting Her Appearance
The Vanderpump Rules pal has some choice words for her haters — and Lisa Rinna is showing her support.
Internet trolls feel no shame in letting their opinions be known. Whether they're commenting on Bethenny Frankel's Halloween costume or, um, Brielle Biermann's butt cheek, the legion of people who send spiteful messages to strangers take no mercy on Bravolebs or anyone else. And now, Lala Kent has had it.
In a recent Instagram Story, the Vanderpump Rules pal let loose on trolls once and for all. Settle in to see what she had to say:
"It's so crazy to me what people are willing to write on people's photos. Like comments that are like oh my God you used to be pretty. It's like you were never pretty. Does that feel good? Does that feel good when I say that? No! I don't sit here and if you're too skinny say oh my God eat a cheeseburger; if you're like a little bit hefty oh my God you eat your feelings. Like, what possesses you to feel like your opinion about somebody is worth anything? That's what social media has done to our world, is making everyone feel like their opinion matters. Hello! It doesn't."
She continued: "Leading to my next thought: Shout-out to Instagram for allowing us to control content, control everything that we see or don't want to see. Blocking trolls, turning off comments, so the only thing you're allowed to do is either double tap to send me some love, or move your miserable ass back on to your little hole. I love that about Instagram. Because at the end of the day this is my page. It's like my cyber home that I'm allowing you to come into. This is how all of us should feel. We're allowing people to come into our cyber homes."
It gets better. "You better wipe your f---king feet before you come in, because I'm not allowing anybody to track mud all over my cyber home. You're blocked if you can't spread love. And now to focus on the people that come into my cyber home and show me so much love, positivity, and they go out there into other people's cyber homes and just spread kindness, they deserve a f---ing shout out. Because those are the people in the world that are out there, they're happy, they're making a difference, they're not little sourpuss trolls, bringing all this negative, dark energy upon us. No, they're out there being badasses every f---ing day, and I love those people. You're more than welcome in my cyber home any day, baby! You heard it from me first."
We think Lala makes some excellent points, here — and we are not the only ones. Lisa Rinna caught wind of the speech, and took to her own Stories to encourage her followers to click on over to Lala's.
"My assistant just sent me an Instagram story that Lala Kent did. Go listen to what she has to say about Instagram," Lisa said. "Good for you, Lala Kent! Yay for you! Yes. honey!"
