Padma Lakshmi's Runway Modeling Throwback Video Is an Entire Mood
The Top Chef host proved she hasn't aged a day since her legendary time on the catwalk.
Before Padma Lakshmi was serving steely looks as a judge and host on Top Chef, she was heating up the runways for some of fashion's most notable designers. The former model has gifted us with a few glances of her days in front of the camera in everything from ad campaigns to lingerie pics, but her most recent '90s-era video clip from the catwalk proves she's always had the moves.
"Walking into the weekend (of sitting at home and reading) like...," Padma teased in her Instagram post on February 6. In the clip, Padma is storming the runway for Isaac Mizrahi in the '90s...and there is just so much to love about this video. From Padma's jaunty walk to her Hepburn-inspired bangs and high ponytail hairstyle, everything about this video is pure, pre-2000 gold.
Clad in a brightly-hued, mini skirt suit, an oatmeal sweater and yellow ballgown combo, and a flouncy, chocolate outfit, Padma strutted her stuff with the best of the best supermodels of the day.
As another '90s icon would say, "You betta werk".
