Taylor Armstrong’s Daughter, Kennedy, Looks So Elegant and Grown Up on Her 17th Birthday
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared a new photo of her teenage daughter in a little black birthday dress.
Taylor Armstrong’s daughter, Kennedy, is 17 years old! Yes, the little girl whose birthday tea party went down in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills history (see the clip above) has outgrown ponies and pretend tea cakes. Her birthday style has changed over the years too: While Kennedy once wore pink tutus on her special day, her 17th birthday look was all sophisticated elegance.
In a recent Instagram post, Taylor shared side-by-side photos of her daughter as a little girl and as the gorgeous young woman that she is today. “My baby girl’s 17th birthday,” The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip alum wrote. “I cannot believe how fast time flies. I’m so proud to be your Momma!”
In the photo of Kennedy as a wee one, she’s wearing a black jumper over a white shirt with puffed sleeves. Her hair is tied up in ribbons, and she has an adorably mischievous smile on her face.
In the more recent photo, Kennedy is wearing a strapless black dress and dainty minimalistic jewelry. Her blonde hair is styled in smooth waves that channel Taylor’s signature style. Kennedy’s fresh-faced beauty look includes subtly rosy cheeks and a swipe of bubblegum-pink gloss.
Taylor’s RHUGT castmate Phaedra Parks gave the birthday girl some love, leaving heart eyes and cake emojis in the comments.
In another celebratory post, Taylor shared a carousel of photos depicting her and Kennedy over the years. “My baby is turning 17 today,” the proud mama wrote. “I can’t believe how amazingly strong and beautiful she is. She is my arrow and I am her bow.”
In the comments, Taylor’s former RHOBH castmate Camille Grammer summed up what we’re all thinking. “She’s so pretty and grown up!” Camille wrote.
Taylor will appear on Season 17 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, making her the first Housewife to switch franchises. “You will see [my daughter] Kennedy this season on RHOC,” Taylor said in response to a fan’s question during a Q&A on her Instagram Stories in December. “Hard to believe she turned 4 on season one of RHOBH and she’s 16 now.”
Back in 2019, Taylor gave an update on her daughter’s life on the Divorce Sucks! with Laura Wasser podcast. She shared that following the August 2011 suicide of Kennedy’s father, Russell Armstrong, Kennedy was living a typical teenage life, using “eye roll emojis” in texts and all.
Taylor also said she is determined to make sure her daughter grows up to have happy and healthy relationships, and she’s hoping her second marriage, to attorney John Bluher, with whom she tied the knot in 2014, will set a good example.
