Leah McSweeney Soaks Up the Sun in Blue Leopard-Print Bikini
The RHUGT cast member and RHONY alum rocked the look during her Miami Beach getaway.
No one does itty-bitty swimwear quite like Leah McSweeney.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum turned up the heat this week when she shared a series of poolside photos taken during her Miami Beach getaway. Posted on April 13, the pictures showed Leah rocking a blue leopard-print bikini that featured a sultry halter top and a side tie bottom. Leah paired the swimsuit with black oversized sunglasses, some simple gold jewelry, and an embroidered black cap designed by SEKS—a New York-based brand that was also behind Leah’s bold cut-out interview look on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
“Exodus,” she captioned one of the pictures, which showed her soaking up the Florida sun.
Leah’s affinity for beachwear has been well-documented on her Instagram account, where she’s shared photos of her wearing a pink-and-white string bikini, a barely there copper design, as well as a bright yellow look that was equal parts sporty and sexy.
It’s clear the mother of one is quite confident in her skin, as she proudly showed off her 10-month body transformation earlier this year. Leah credited the change to consistent exercise as well as, therapy, meditation, and "and not depriving myself of carbs!”
Leah spoke about her personal style during an appearance Bravo’s Project Runway Season 19.
The episode was centered on a client challenge in which the contestants were asked to create a reunion-ready look for Leah and other Housewives from different franchises, including RHONY’s Luann De Lesseps, The Real Housewives of Potomac's Karen Huger and Dr. Wendy Osefo, and The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Shannon Storms Beador and Gina Kirschenheiter.
Leah, who was paired with contestant Coral Castillo, had initially asked for a “sexy Disney princess” dress, but was instead given a nude-colored lace gown that was more in line with Coral’s aesthetic.
“I tend to dress and like to shock people,” Leah told the Project Runway judges, “but I said, ‘This time, I want to shock people by wearing something that they wouldn’t expect me to wear.’”
