Lisa Barlow Swears By This $5 Lipstick: “I Literally Went and Bought 50 of Them”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member is besotted with this “perfect pinky-brown color.”
If Lisa Barlow ever goes away in a drugstore, we’ll know what she’s there for. In a recent interview, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City tequila mogul opened up about the $5 lipstick she “swears by.”
While sharing a few of her favorite things with New York Magazine’s “The Strategist,” the Utah mom talked up the affordable lip color she can’t live without. It’s NYX Professional Butter Gloss in Madeleine.
“Tom Ford lip gloss was all I wore until I found this about three months ago,” Lisa told the mag. “Makeup artist Morgan Fay introduced me to this. She put it on me, and I was like, Oh my gosh, I’m obsessed. I literally went and bought 50 of them right after. It’s the perfect pinky-brown color, and the formula’s not super sticky. I have it in every glove box and bag now. For my everyday look, I usually line my lips with MAC Soar and fill in with this.”
In the clip above, Lisa spills more details on the beauty products she’s “obsessed with.” Standing in the glamorous bathroom of her Utah home, the Real Housewife says, “I get asked this all the time: What blush are you wearing? What bronzer are you wearing? And what lip?” People had questions, and Lisa had answers.
In the clip, she says the lip pencil she “loves” is MAC Lip Pencil in Whirl ($22). At the time, she was topping it with “a little bit of a Tom Ford gloss” — but it’s safe to assume that her go-to gloss has since changed. (See her NYX raves, above.)
Lisa confesses that her bronzer of choice is Fenty Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer in I$land Ting ($35). She also gushes over the “beautiful” pale pink hue of the cult-loved classic blush Orgasm by Nars ($32).
Earlier this month, Lisa took to her Instagram Stories to share some of her go-to hair products. “Smooth. Strong. Shiny hair with [Nicole + Brizee],” the brunette beauty wrote over an Instagram Story that showed off her gorgeous mane. Lisa went on to credit the brand’s “core line” shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in conditioner for her smooth “ends” ($40 for the bundle).
The haircare brand’s website says that its products contain ingredients such as jojoba and pea protein, which offer “natural hydration” and “strength build[ing].” No wonder Lisa’s hair is so smooth, strong, and shiny.
