Rayvin Huger Emulated Classic Glamour in a Strapless Black Gown at the Met Gala
Karen Huger’s daughter stunned at the annual fashion event in New York City.
Rayvin Huger recently graced the star-studded Met Gala in New York City on May 1 — but it wasn’t the first time.
In May 2022, Karen Huger’s daughter attended the fashionable affair in an incredible asymmetrical black gown, pairing her flowing frock with black pointed-toe heels that featured sparkly straps. “So this happened,” Rayvin captioned an Instagram photo from the evening.
Well, it happened again for The Real Housewives of Potomac kid. Rayvin again appeared at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on the First Monday in May, this time emulating timeless elegance by rocking a strapless black gown with a fitted corset bodice and diamond choker necklace.
“[S]econd time’s a charm,” Rayvin captioned a May 2 Instagram post, sharing a carousel of photos that showed off her elegant look, which she paired with glamorous sideswept hair. In addition to posing on the white carpet, Rayvin shared some snaps taken among artwork as well as in a photo booth with a pal. In an Instagram Story photo, she shared another look at her stunning ensemble as she headed to an after-party.
After last year’s event, Karen opened up during NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation on May 16, noting how thrilled she was for her daughter’s appearance — though she did have a few questions.
“I just want to know, when is she going to bring her mother onto the carpet? Hello, everyone, can I get an invite?” Karen joked. “Come on now.”
She added: “Rayvin has her life here in Manhattan. I’m super proud of her… I’m a doting parent still, for now and ever.”
The last time we caught up with Rayvin, she was continuing to flex her fashion muscles — that time with her mom at her side.
The mother-daughter duo took New York by storm on February 15 to attend the 2023 Fall Ready-to-Wear show for Luar, celebrating the 2022 CFDA American Accessory winner’s clothing collection at New York Fashion Week. For the occasion, both Karen and Rayvin wore styles that emulated Old Hollywood film noir vibes in different ways.
Rayvin went full-on Marilyn Monroe with her hair and makeup, wearing a short hairstyle of black curls, thick cat-eye liner, long lashes, and a bright red lip — the likes of which perfectly matched her red lacquered trench coat by Julia Allert ($609, shown here in black).
Karen opted for a menswear look, donning a black suit that included structured black slacks, a double-breasted blazer with black satin lapels, a white button-down shirt, and a black-and-white striped tie. The La Dame perfume CEO accessorized with large diamond-encrusted earrings and a Chanel logo brooch, wearing her honey-blonde locks in tight, voluminous curls.
