Karen Huger Reacts to Daughter Rayvin’s Incredible Met Gala Appearance
Although The Real Housewives of Potomac mom was “so proud” of her daughter’s red carpet appearance at the star-studded event, she had some questions.
Karen Huger’s daughter, Rayvin Huger, has a bold sense of style. In April, Rayvin, who works in fashion, told BravoTV.com, “I always have to make a look my own, spice it up, and add a funky ‘Rayvin’ twist to it.” And at the 2022 Met Gala, she did just that — and Karen had feelings about it.
When The Real Housewives of Potomac daughter graced the star-studded event on May 2, she (of course) rocked an incredible ensemble. For the special night in New York City, the fashionista was radiant in an asymmetrical black one-shoulder gown. Rayvin paired her flowing frock with black pointed-toe heels that featured sparkly straps. Her hair was pulled back into a black claw clip, adding the finishing touch to her glamorous look. “So this happened,” she wrote on her post.
Two weeks later, during NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation on May 16, Karen opened up about her daughter’s impressive appearance at the Met Gala. Although Karen was thrilled for Rayvin, she did have a few questions. “I just want to know, when is she going to bring her mother onto the carpet? Hello, everyone, can I get an invite?” Karen joked. “Come on now.”
Whether Rayvin is on one of the world’s most prestigious red carpets or simply going about her day-to-day, Karen can’t help gushing over her daughter’s accomplishments. “Rayvin has her life here in Manhattan,” Karen said. “I’m super proud of her … I’m a doting parent still, for now and ever.”
