Karen Huger Shares Her Reaction to Daughter Rayvin Modeling for Skims
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member gave her take on her daughter becoming “a Skims girl.”
Since Rayvin Huger went off to college in 2016, her style has evolved. “I always have to make a look my own, spice it up, and add a funky ‘Rayvin’ twist to it,” the daughter of The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Karen Huger told BravoTV.com in April. Now, Rayvin is adding her personal twist to undergarments in a new modeling campaign.
“She’s a [Skims] girl,” the model captioned a video of herself in a September 28 Instagram post wearing the Naked Scoop Bra and underwear from Kim Kardashian’s shape and loungewear line. Proud mom Karen was quick to react to the post, sharing the video to her Instagram Stories and writing, “Can’t stop watching this!!!! My baby girl is a [Skims] girl!!!!”
Rayvin isn’t the only Skims fan in the Bravo universe. Back in 2019, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards starred in a ’90s-style infomercial for the brand, talking about its various products with the faux talk show’s host, Kris Jenner. In January 2021, The Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley shared a hilarious Instagram post in which she called Skims her “11-pound secret” that helped her look great under her clothes.
As for Rayvin’s continued trajectory in the fashion world, it’s all happening for the Penn State graduate, who recently made a Met Gala appearance. For the May 2 event, Rayvin rocked an asymmetrical black one-shoulder gown, pairing her flowing frock with black pointed-toe heels with sparkling straps. The Real Housewives of Potomac: Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion cast member pulled her hair back into a black claw clip as the finishing touch on her glamorous style. “So this happened,” she captioned an Instagram post of the look.
Two weeks later, during NBCUniversal’s upfront presentation on May 16, Karen opened up about her daughter’s presence at the star-studded event. Although Karen was thrilled for Rayvin, she did have a few concerns. “I just want to know, when is she going to bring her mother onto the carpet? Hello, everyone, can I get an invite?” Karen joked. “Come on now.”
