Gizelle Bryant's Gorgeous Floral 50th Birthday Cake Was as Sassy as She Is
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member celebrated her big day with a sparkling dessert.
Gizelle Bryant celebrated her 50th birthday with an over-the-top cake featuring a notable personal touch.
During a fete with some of her current and former The Real Housewives of Potomac castmates including Robyn Dixon, Ashley Darby, Charrisse Jackson Jordan, and Wendy Osefo, Gizelle was presented with an incredible two-tier green confection. While the blinged-out bands along the bottom of each tier and the vibrant pink edible roses splattered with gold were jaw-dropping details, we have some extra appreciation for the message at the bottom of the cake: "Word on the street is, I'm 50," a nod Gizelle's RHOP taglines that featured the phrase for multiple seasons.
The dessert was created by Cakes By LaLa, whose owner noted in an Instagram Story that "one of the other Housewives reached out" to place the order. Of course, the cake also featured a sparkly topper, made by Tiny Wren Creations, that read "Happy 50th Gizelle."
While sharing a close-up photo of the cake in an Instagram post, Ashley noted via a location tag that the fun-filled day was held at The Riggs in Washington D.C. "What a beautiful way to safely celebrate our gal Gizzy!" she wrote. "It was so great to share stories about the birthday girl and have a delicious meal together."
Following the party, Gizelle took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the special day. "HUGE thank you to the most amazing hostesses [Charrisse] & [Robyn] You two made my 50th Birthday celebration BEYOND special. I truly feel incredibly loved. This was the BEST pandemic safe PAR-TAY a girl could ever ask for."
Days prior, Gizelle kicked off the milestone birthday with a stunning photo shoot rocking a black bodysuit featuring green printed statement balloon sleeves. “50 never looked so good!” she captioned one of the Instagram photos, adding the hashtag: “Happy birthday to me.”
