Vicki Gunvalson Sold Her North Carolina House 6 Months After Buying It
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum got a full price offer on her lakeside home after just one day on the market.
Nearly six months after purchasing a North Carolina lake house, Vicki Gunvalson has decided to say goodbye to the vacation home.
"I got a full price offer day one on the market for my NC log house yesterday," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum wrote on Instagram. "I love renovating homes and this shows you can do it too." Vicki concluded her post with the hashtags investment property, on to the next project, and bye bye NC.
Because Vicki has been documenting her progress on the house's renovations in recent months, many of her followers were confused by the seemingly abrupt sale. However, Vicki was happy to explain the reason behind her move, responding to one commenter, "I decided against holding it because the kids may be moving out of NC."
In October 2020, just a few months after she revealed she purchased the home "online without seeing it," Vicki updated her followers on the extensive work she was putting into the abode. "Bathtub removed, new tiled shower being installed, all new outdoor lighting, new ceiling fans and new indoor lighting," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "I’m so excited to have this incredible home be part of the retirement plan."
After spending months redoing nearly every inch of the home, Vicki revealed one of her favorite parts of the property in a December 2020 Instagram post. "I put the gliders together for my porch and now I could just spend the whole day here!" she wrote. "My lake house is coming together beautifully."
