Vicki Gunvalson Is Doing Major Construction at Her North Carolina Lake House
"It's going to be incredible," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum declared of her renovations.
One month after announcing the "bathrooms need updating" at her new lake house in North Carolina, Vicki Gunvalson is already hard at work on the rooms.
"Construction has started," The Real Housewives of Orange County alum captioned an October 7 Instagram Story, noting her primary bathroom was gutted. "Can't wait to show you the finished product." Vicki went on to share a look at a separate bathroom currently being renovated, writing, "Hall bath gutted, bathtub gone, shower stall being created."
Vicki has big plans for other rooms in the house as well. As she shared a photo of a fireplace within a spacious area, Vicki declared, "It's going to be incredible."
In August, Vicki announced that she had purchased the home sight unseen. "So excited to finally see this vacation/rental House I bought online without seeing it," she wrote. "It's everything I thought it would be." While Vicki noted at the time that she also had plans to update the bedrooms and install new appliances, she was blown away by a lakeside dock just steps from the home. "This is really cool; they got cute little benches everywhere!" she said in a video. "Look at that — it's got a spot to put some boats. Gotta get me a boat!"
The new property is just one exciting real estate move Vicki has made this year. In May, she announced she bought a retirement/vacation home in Puerto Vallarta, where she has been vacationing for three decades. "After spending over 30 years in one of my favorite places in the world, I closed on my vacation/retirement house today," she wrote at the time. "Other than being with my children, grandchildren and [Steve Lodge] it’s one of my happiest and fondest memories and one of my parents favorite destinations."
Tune into the Season 15 premiere of The Real Housewives of Orange County on Wednesday, October 14 at 10/9c.
