We’ll admit it: When we first heard Tamra Judge had sold her stunning Coto de Caza home, we were totally and completely shocked. If you’ve seen the sprawling, six-bedroom house — with its gorgeous kitchen, master bathroom, and resort-esque backyard — then you get where we’re coming from! But according to The Real Housewives of Orange County alum, it was all about the timing.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Orange County on Thursdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Last week Tamra revealed she had sold the house on the Jeff Lewis Live podcast, saying, “Our house wasn’t even on the market! My good friend [and real estate agent] Shelley Black…she said, ‘Hey, I have somebody who wants to buy your house.’”

This week, Tamra is going further into exactly what happened… and how a sign from God helped her make a decision. “Two days after I announced I was leaving the show, Shelley asked me if I was interested in selling. My first thought was ‘maybe.’ I just lost a big contract,” Tamra told In Touch. “Little did I know, she had a buyer for my house. After talking to our financial advisor, we decided to decline the offer.

But the buyers were so eager to nab Tamra’s house they came back a few days later with a better offer. “Again, we contacted our financial advisor and he said, ‘SELL IT!’ But here’s the real deciding factor — two hours after we got the offer on our Coto house, the renters in our Covenant Hills house gave notice they were moving. I knew then God was giving me a sign and we needed to trust him.”

While Tamra wasn’t planning on selling her beloved home, she admitted that she also wasn’t shocked. “When we bought our house in Coto there were a lot of people that wanted it, so I’m not surprised we got an offer without it being on the market. This is the second time Shelley has sold our house without it being listed.”

More to know: Tamra and her husband, Eddie Judge, want to start flipping homes. We can’t wait to see those before and afters!
