Kelly Dodd Reveals the Unexpected Dress Color She'll Wear at Her 3rd Wedding
The RHOC cast member has asked all her guests to wear white to her 10/10/2020 wedding, so she can stand out in a totally different hue.
Kelly Dodd’s wedding to Rick Leventhal is right around the corner! The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is set to walk down the aisle on October 10, 2020, and as this is her third wedding, she is approaching the dress code with a very interesting twist. While it’s usually a total faux pas for guests to wear white to watch their loved ones tie the knot, Kelly and Rick are actually encouraging it.
“It’s my third wedding. It’s Rick’s third wedding. We thought it would be kind of different to do, we’re going to be dressed up in black. And they guests are going to be wearing all white,” Kelly explained in the video above, exclusive to Bravo Insider.
There’s also one other wedding attire rule Kelly and Rick’s guests will be required to follow as they say “I do” amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic: keeping their noses and mouths covered with a customized face mask.
"We got masks made for 10-10-2020. So, that’s really cool,” the bride-to-be explained. “It says Rick and Kelly [and] 10-10-2020 for everybody to wear.”
Kelly also teased that the ceremony will be incredibly intimate, and held at a private residence at an estate in Sonoma, which features tennis courts and a beautiful pool. She compared her upcoming event to her previous two weddings; the first was a “big Catholic wedding” with 250 guests at a golf club, while she “literally went to Vegas and got hitched” for the second.
“I know this is so cliche, but I met my soulmate. I 100 percent met my soulmate. I met my best friend. We are so close. My ride or die,” said Kelly. “He’s got the same values as I do. He makes me laugh, he’s generous. He’s everything that I wanted in a man and more and I couldn’t ask for a better partner. I couldn’t ask for a better lover, he just completes my life.”
