Heather Dubrow Is “Obsessed” with This Feature of Her New Beverly Hills Estate
The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member revealed a “fun” part of her legendary new house, which once belonged to Dino De Laurentiis.
Barbie isn’t the only one with a dream house. In a recent Instagram post, The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Heather Dubrow shared: “BREAKING NEWS! Watch out Beverly Hills, The Dubrow dream house is officially underway!”
That’s right: Heather is officially moving on from the famous Dubrow Chateau, which you can tour in the clip above. So how could any house possibly top the legendary Orange County manse? Heather recently opened up about a certain feature of her Beverly Hills house that has her “obsessed.”
Heather Dubrow is “kind of obsessed” with this fixture at her “dream house”
When chatting with E! News, Heather dished on the new “Dubrow dream house” she and her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, are building in Beverly Hills.
When host Justin Sylvester asked what Heather’s new house has that the famous Dubrow Chateau did not, “Fancy Pants” filled him in. “I have to say, one thing that we didn’t have [in Orange County] that I’m kind of obsessed with is a pickleball court.” She added: “There’s a tennis court on the [Beverly Hills] estate, but I thought pickleball would be fun too.”
When E!’s Adrienne Bailon-Houghton asked Heather about the cost of renovating her new $16 million home, the mother of four joked: “Is this wife math or is this real math?” She went on to say that if it’s wife math, “[the cost] is so low, you barely feel it.”
More Details on Heather and Terry Dubrow’s New House
When chatting about her home with Entertainment Tonight, Heather gushed, “It’s so exciting! We tried to buy five or six properties all over Cabo, Newport Beach, Beverly Hills, Palm Springs, and the universe landed us here, at the most iconic Hollywood estate.”
According to ET, the couple’s new 9,000-square-foot house sits on 8.2 acres. Since the property is close to the Beverly Hills Hotel, Heather and Terry plan to swing by the hotel’s restaurant, The Polo Lounge, pretty regularly. “It will be like our diner,” she joked.
Heather and Terry Dubrow’s new home was once Dino De Laurentiis’ house
Heather and Terry’s new house doesn’t just come with tons of square footage: It also has history.
According to ET, Heather’s new Beverly Hills estate once belonged to legendary producer Dino De Laurentiis (who died in 2010) and his wife, equally renowned producer Martha De Laurentiis (née Schumacher), who passed away in December 2021.
Heather and Terry Dubrow’s Los Angeles Pad
In addition to her Orange County and Beverly Hills houses, Heather and Terry own a luxe Los Angeles penthouse apartment.
In an interview with The Wrap published last month, Heather explained why she was looking for another new property after scooping up the penthouse.
“What’s cool is when we sold the house, we’re like newlyweds again. Where are we going? What are we doing? The possibilities are endless,” she said. “So we’re really exploring all possibilities. And plus, I love design. I’m not really looking to build ground-up right now. But I am looking for a new reno project, and so I’ve been looking in Orange County and Beverly Hills. Like we were talking about the universe, we’re gonna see what opens up.”
