In a recent Instagram Story, Emily showed off a gorgeous, cheesy grazing table that had been arranged in her kitchen. The spread was laid out on a dark wood table stationed in front of a wall of windows, with a chandelier hanging overhead.
Catering pros from Bright Bread Company stood by as Emily marveled over their work. "They came in and put this together in what, one hour?" she asked. "It's totally organized. They know what they're doing. They put it all together. It's fabulous. I didn't have to do anything, which is the way I like to throw a party."
Zooming in to show off the finer details of the spread, Emily said: "Here's the finished product. Isn't it beautiful?" And indeed, as you'll see below, it was. The grazing table was bursting with veggies, fruits, olives, crackers, and cheeses. It was also decorated with flowers and garlands.
"This is my favorite thing because you feed a whole bunch of people, but you don't have to do anything," Emily remarked. "So I love grazing tables." What's not to love?
In an earlier Instagram Story, Emily had explained the reason for the fabulous snacks. She was hosting a fundraiser for her kids' school, and was expecting "a lot of moms." She also shared that the grazing table would feed about 35 to 40 people.
Emily Simpson's Past Parties
Emily said it herself: She loves a good grazing table! In the past, the Orange County mama put out a gorgeous holiday spread, replete with candy canes, dark chocolate stars, peppermint bark, and candies.
But it doesn't have to be a holiday for the consummate hostess to serve up a beautiful spread. For a fall movie night, she once put out a tray with a beautiful arrangement of fruits, veggies, nuts, meats, crackers, and fresh herbs.
A mini pumpkin lent some fall vibes to the spread — and it also had some cinematic decor. Behind the tray, roses and hydrangeas spilled out of a popcorn bucket.
