Emily Simpson celebrated her 44th birthday as she should: with a week full of festivities and some positive reflection. On January 15, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom kicked off the celebrations with a fancy dinner party full of her closest friends and a stunning floral cake. Then, on her actual birthday — January 19 — Emily gave her 43rd year one final send-off with a gorgeous and cheeky snap.
In the photo, Emily showed off her backside while rocking the curve-flattering one-piece swimsuit she designed with RHOC alum Lizzie Rovsek for SunKitten Swimwear. With her hands on her hips, her head held high, and cheeky pop of the leg, Emily gave a powerful and confident pose.
"Saying one last goodbye to 43, and looking forward to what life will bring at age 44," she wrote.
In the comments section, Emily also shared an update on her fitness journey. A fan wrote, "You must be close to your goal weight by the looks of it?" Emily then responded, "I don’t really have a goal weight ... more like goal body fat percentage. I always weigh a lot."
Back in December, Emily revealed that she had lost 15 pounds since embarking on her new fitness journey. "Not only did I want to lose weight to feel and look better, but I wanted to be healthier and set a good example for my kids! I haven’t felt this good in a long time and with a new hip, and 15 pounds off I’m finally able to keep up with my kids and be more active," she shared.
It looks like Emily is ready to take her 44th year by storm.
