The Real Housewives of Orange County mom blew out the candles on a multi-tier confection coated with roses and strawberries.
Emily Simpson, a member of Bravo's Capricorn tribe, will celebrate her 44th birthday on January 19. To kick off the festivities, The Real Housewives of Orange County event planner gathered a few of her closest girlfriends for a pink-and-red dinner party on January 15. There were sparkling flower arrangements, champagne toasts, and bubblegum-pink goodie bags — and the pretty dessert fit right in with the evening's color palette.
Guests including RHOC alum Lizzie Rovsek captured the moment when Emily — wearing a one-shouldered red dress — blew out the candles on her birthday cake. The three-tier dessert, frosted with the palest pink icing and strewn with red roses and plump strawberries, looked like an early Valentine's Day treat. So, it's fitting that the birthday girl was feeling the love.
Panning across the scene at Laguna Beach restaurant Ocean at Main, Emily was filled with appreciation. "Look at the table! Isn't it beautiful? Look at all the flowers," she cooed. "Look at all my beautiful friends." Now, look at this beautiful cake:
