Emily Simpson Kicks Off Spring in a Stunning Floral Dress (PICS)
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom welcomed a new season in a vibrant dress and gorgeous glam.
When it comes to spring fashion, Emily Simpson reminds us you can never go wrong with a classic.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom took to Instagram this week to show off a playful, yet sophisticated, dress she donned while enjoying the West Coast sun. The midi dress included plenty of feminine, season-ready details, such as ruffled cap sleeves, a square neckline, a ruched bust, and an all-over flower print. Though florals have become a staple in nearly every spring wardrobe, Emily chose to mix things up by ditching pastels in favor of a less expected color scheme anchored by blue and red hues.
The piece was designed by Misa, a Los Angeles-based fashion brand that’s known for airy fabrics, flowy silhouettes, and bold patterns. Emily shared a couple of photos of the season-ready garment, which she paired with strappy heels, a pair of dark sunglasses, and gold drop earrings.
“Well Spring sprung in Orange County for one day,” she captioned the photos, which were taken at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort. “So I took advantage and enjoyed the sunshine and a mimosa.”

The RHOC attorney has consistently delivered head-turning looks, whether she’s donning a bold red corset dress, an all-black workout onesie, or a high-cut swimsuit. However, Emily admits it took her several decades to develop a personal style, as she spent years struggling to build confidence.
She addressed the issue in an Instagram post back in 2018, just a month after her first RHOC season premiered.
"EVERY time a new episode of [RHOC] airs, I get so many comments about my body. MOST of them positive. Ladies, teens, tweens, girls.... Listen to me....be your OWN kind of cool,” she wrote. “Find a style that works for your body type and rock it. Don’t compare yourself to others. Don’t compare yourself to your friends. Don’t try to dress trendy just because you want to fit in. It’s taken me 35 years to learn this, but I’ve finally gotten it down. I dress for me. Curvy cool."
