Emily Simpson Went All out for Her Stepdaughter's Drive-By Birthday Celebration
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom's socially-distanced celebration had beautiful balloons and a dunk tank.
Emily Simpson was not going to let a pandemic get in the way of celebrating her stepdaughter Chanel’s 14th birthday party. This week, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom and her husband, Shane, feted their girl with an enormous balloon installation to accent their home’s front wall and they rented a dunk tank to liven up the drive-by party.
“So, we’re getting ready for Chanel’s 14th birthday party and as we do a drive-by party everybody gets a chance to dunk Chanel in the dunk booth,” Emily said during her video tour of the décor posted on her Instagram Stories. “So. we have pretty balloons and a drive-by dunking booth.”
Emily hired Balloons by Alexandria to create the multi-hued garland, which turned out beautifully. In a share to her account, the artist wrote, “Can we talk about all of the dimension going on here?! A beautiful set up for a dunkin’ drive by birthday!”
The festive celebration was complete with blaring music and Emily’s kids running around in bathing suits, each taking their own turn in the dunk tank. While drive-by parties are certainly de rigueur in these times of social distancing, Emily definitely took this party to another level.
