Emily Simpson has professional party-planning experience, and it shows in the smorgasbord she whipped up for her holiday fete. In a December 19 Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom panned across an eye-popping spread she put out for her pals, and led her followers through a little "party planning 101."
Showing platters piled with fruits, cheeses, bread, salmon pinwheels, and more, Emily said, "So I'm having a Christmas party tonight with my girlfriends, and we're gonna do a gift exchange. And I threw together some vegetables and fruit and charcuterie, put it all together, threw it out on my island. Oh, and the desserts — you can't forget those. How does it look?"
Not too shabby, Emily! (Who can resist red-velvet cupcakes and petit fours shaped like presents?)
The spread was ample enough to feed Santa and all his reindeers. And yes, there was wine to wash it all down — along with a soft drink that would make Kelly Dodd proud. During the gift exchange, guests including RHOC alum Lizzie Rosvek sipped Positive beverages. See inside the festivities, below:
