Emily Simpson Debuts a New Hair Color and Shares Her Volume Secrets

Emily Simpson has been sharing plenty of intimate details from her personal life lately. From house tours and makeup-free selfies to flaunting her curves in a chic one-piece swimsuit, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom has been an open book. Now, she’s handing out beauty tips, specifically about her hair and how she keeps it so voluminous.
In a series of Instagram Story posts in which she answered questions from her followers, Emily was asked how she gets such great volume in her long, brunette hair.
“I get asked this a lot, and it’s mostly genetics,” she wrote. “My dad has very thick, wavy hair and I inherited his hair… the only hair product I use is Suave Hair Spray.”
For someone with hair as flawless as Emily’s, it’s almost hard to believe that her go-to hairspray is a product that you can score for just a few dollars at your nearest convenience store!
In another selfie, Emily showed off her new, lighter hair color and tagged her hairstylist, Kimmy. Emily’s subtle fresh ‘do is a balayage look with gorgeous caramel highlights.
It’s no surprise that Real Housewives fans would want to know Emily’s hair secrets. The attorney always seems to be having a fantastic hair day, even when she has just thrown it up in a ponytail to squeeze a workout in before her children wake up in the morning. (By the way, that’s another life hack Emily shared on her Instagram Story. She says early workouts are the best way to stay fit with kids.)
Another impressive feat? Being able to fit all of her hair into a selfie, even when it’s particularly voluminous. Maybe this should be the next step Emily shares with her followers!
