Tamra: I Fly by the Seat of My Pants
Tamra dishes on CUT Fitness and the challenges of working with Eddie.
Last week I was in NYC and wasn't able to write a blog about the birth of Ava. What a blessed memory to have on camera. It was one of the happiest days of my life. Ava is now five months old and has brought so much love to our family.
My dream of opening up and business with my husband wasn't so easy. We are now going on our third year and it has been a roller coaster. I found out fast that I had a lot to learn about running a business. Eddie had experience in starting a business and knew WAY more than I did (but he still only owns 49% hehe). Eddie lives his days off his calendar and organized spreadsheets and I fly by the seat of my pants. So obviously we would butt heads about things.
Getting married and starting a business in the same year was a challenge and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. CUT Fitness has had its up and downs and so many times I wanted to throw in the towel, but what I have learned is it takes a good three years to get a company off the ground. As CUT Fitness had growing pains so did the Judges! But nothing we couldn't handle as you will see.
I thought it would be best if I limited my time at CUT (to three days a week) and get back into real estate. I kept my license active and have teamed up with a group at Keller Williams Mission Viejo.
I get a lot of emails and messages on social media about franchising CUT and that is exactly what our plans are. I thought it would be a great idea to start a CUT Fitness youtube channel to give people from out of the area a little taste of CUT Fitness. Our intro video already has 9 million views. We are in the process of filming short videos of workouts, food prepping, healthy lifestyle choices, and a little behind the scenes look at CUT. Make sure you subscribe. CUT Fitness is always involved in local events if you want to come out and meet us please, check out our upcoming events.
I loved seeing David and Shannon out to dinner and happy. The first few episodes of them have been so painful to watch. That bracelet David bought Shannon is beautiful. Good job, David.
I feel bad for Meghan; she is four months into her marriage and having to take on the role of stepmom to a defiant teenager. That's a battle she is probably going to lose. Good luck, Meg.
Let me just say, I HATE BOWLING! But I was happy to go and get Vicki's mind off the passing of her Mom. It was extremely sad when Vicki said her Mom would watch the kids. I can't imagine the emotions she is going through.
Next week we are going to Tahiti...woot woot! I am excited and scared to see next week's episode. Housewife trips are always filled with drama and this one is NO different.
Are you following me on Instagram @tamrajudge? Facebook for you OLD people...I still love Facebook I don't care what anyone says.
