Tamra Judge Went...Brunette? See the Jaw-Dropping Photo of Her Darker Tresses
We're loving The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member's move to the dark side.
So, there was that one time in 2019 when Tamra Judge considered changing up her signature bright sunny blonde for a darker, ombré-like style. Though The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member didn't take the plunge into darkness back then, she recently went fully brunette. Well, temporarily, that is.
"Who's who?" Tamra captioned a series of photos with Heather Dubrow that were taken during the RHOC ladies' trip to the United Kingdom. In the photos, Tamra and Heather seemingly switched places, with Heather, a brunette, wearing a light blonde wig and Tamra wearing a dark brown wig.
Although both colors are a switch-up from their signature hairstyles, we think they both look great with their new 'dos!
Tamra Judge's Cosmetic Procedures
In addition to trying on a new hair hue, Tamra recently got a "brow lift, CO2 laser, and a blue chemical peel," sharing her (often painful) journey with her social media followers.
During her birthday weekend (Tamra's birthday is September 2), Tamra revealed she visited Donald S. Mowlds, MD, in Newport Beach for the procedures.
According to the Mayo Clinic, a brow lift improves the appearance of the forehead and brow area by "raising the brows." Additionally, a CO2 laser uses "targeted beams of light to remove the superficial layer of [skin]," per Healthline. The treatment is noted to treat discoloration in different areas of the skin and care for cosmetic concerns like "lines, wrinkles, and acne scars."
Moreover, the "blue chemical peel" Tamra got is described as a "ZO Controlled Depth Peel" on Dr. Mowlds' website and is said to "target the deeper layers of the skin" to "achieve maximal non-surgical skin tightening as well as correct deeper wrinkles, scars and pigmentation." Due to the depth of its implementation, the doctor asks for patients to have a "strict" recovery to fully heal, seeing noticeable improvement over six weeks.
Tamra documented her challenging healing journey via her Instagram page, sharing updates as her skin continued to heal.
RHOC's Alexis Bellino wrote her concern in the comments section, "Babe, we've had this talk but wtf on your bday?!!! God please help her through the pain."
Luckily, Tamra did fully recover, just in time for the RHOC Season 18 reunion.
In addition to her skin procedures and light surgery, Tamra also recently got veneers via Smile Texas in Houston, granting her a brighter and more streamlined smile.
