Kelly Dodd had quite the day yesterday. After traveling to New York City on a luxurious private jet, she arrived at boyfriend Rick Leventhal's home to find a box of Tarte Cosmetics waiting for her. Oh, and what was that third thing? Yes, that's right: The Real Housewives of Orange County mom got — and we can't stress this enough — engaged!
On a patio overlooking the city lights, Rick and Kelly were sipping wine by the fire pit when Rick popped the question — and slipped a show-stopping ring on Kelly's finger. Let's just say this: The surprise proposal wasn't the only thing that had our jaws on the floor.
Flashing the enormous, pear-shaped sparkler on her Instagram Story shortly after the proposal, Kelly was in true Kelly form. "I got engaged!" she said, elated. Then, holding up the ring: "Look at that — little big." Rick added: "You deserve a big ring." In heaven, Kelly replied: "Look how badass that ring is. Bam!"
The bride-to-be was still admiring her bling at The Polo Bar dinner that came next. Holding the ring up so her followers could get a close-up view, Kelly once again marveled: "Look at that badass ring ... Look at that bad boy! Bling, bling with the pinkie ring!"
