Gretchen Rossi Had Her First Day Away from Baby Skylar in a Gorgeous Floral Dress

Gretchen Rossi is setting the bar rather high for maternity and postpartum style. We couldn't get over how The Real Housewives of Orange County alum churned out epic ensemble after epic ensemble up until the very moment she gave birth (yes, she had a pre-labor glam sesh). And we still don't quite understand how she was able to pull off flawless waves while still on the delivery table (she is magic). It turns out her life as a new mom to adorable baby Skylar Gray is shaping up to be just as chic. 

In a recent Instagram post, the OC beauty shared a few pics from her first full day away from her newborn cutie and let's just say the day was a relatable mix of Gretchen's signature glam with totally understandable new mom emotions. For her all day work engagement, Gretchen wore a fab floral frock with a deep v-neck and princess sleeves by fashion house Zimmerman. But before you scoff at the almost $700 retail price tag, it seems that Gretchen scored the stunning dress via rental from Lady Jetset for just $95 (clever new mom hack, Gretchen!). The blonde bombshell coupled her etherial dress with blue, beaded drop earrings and a gorgeous multi-braid updo. The OC alum may have looked amazing, but she was naturally filled with emotion after leaving her little one. 

"Yesterday was the first day I had to be away from my baby girl for a work engagement, and I’m not going to lie I had so much anxiety over it ? Even though she was with her grandparents (best people on earth for her to be with) I couldn’t stop thinking about her and missed her so much (even though it was only eight hours) I was so happy when I got home last night and got to see her and kiss and love on her!" she confessed.
