It’s time to celebrate because Gretchen Rossi and longtime love Slade Smiley have finally welcomed their new baby girl — and the new mama made sure to look every bit the cover star for the momentous occasion. The Real Housewives of Orange County alum delivered her little bundle of joy on Wednesday, July 10, via a scheduled C-section and all parties are doing well. Though Gretchen had to make the “super hard decision” to forgo a vaginal birth, the blonde beauty was able to find the silver lining in the form of some pre-delivery glam. Honestly, we would expect nothing less from our Gretchen given that she did one of her many maternity photoshoots wearing lingerie in a milk bath. You know — casual.
Gretchen shared her early morning makeup session on Instagram stories as she proceeded to get all dolled up with a flawless face and her signature cascading blonde locks before heading to the hospital. Makeup artist Sonia Kiani made sure Gretchen was ready for the big day in style.
“Good morning everyone! It’s the last glam...this is like the last supper. The last glam of my life ever! After the baby comes there will be no more glam for you!” the OC entrepreneur joked. “This is the only good thing about a scheduled C-section!”
Gretchen also posted a few behind-the-scenes videos of her and Slade in the hospital room looking absolutely fabulous right before surgery. Only Gretchen could pull off pairing a hair net with a smokey eye and pink lip like it’s no big deal. Congrats, mama!
