Alexis Bellino Goes for a Major Chop: See Her Stunning, Short New Haircut

This past year has been all about change for Alexis Bellino: The Real Housewives of Orange County alum kicked off the year with new piercings after her divorce, she went public with a new relationship, and she moved into a new house. Recently, Alexis decided to make another life adjustment: a *major hair change* that is.
Alexis first teased her big chop in an Instagram post on Tuesday. "Was working from the couch just now about to put my annoying hair up in a bun and remembered that it’s all getting chopped off on Thursday! So decided I’ll be leaving it permanently down for the next 48 hours until 'chop day.' Lol! Stay tuned for the new ‘do!" she wrote alongside a selfie of herself, still sporting a long, golden mane.
While it's clear Alexis was a bit frustrated with her hair, which surely played a role in her decision, she revealed that "Drew [her boyfriend] actually requested the short hair."
On "chop day," Alexis headed to hairstylist and owner of Latitude 33 Hair Artistry, Angelique Elmoussa, for the big transformation, and she shared her entire process on Instagram. Her transition commenced with a fresh dye job that included highlights. "I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little nervous because after color, comes the chop," she shared in video.
Next it was time to break out the scissors. Elmoussa took several inches off Alexis' hair in stages.
After several hours in the salon, Alexis debuted her new look with a fierce Instagram post. The final results: A cute and edgy wavy lob with platinum blonde highlights.
"It’s gone!" Alexis wrote alongside a series of photos herself modeling her new 'do in a white tank top paired with a glossy pink lip.
