Jim Edmonds Spends Time with His Twin Sons in His St. Louis Mansion’s Batting Cage
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum dad has built an over-the-top home full of sporting amenities.
It's 46 degrees and plummeting outside in St. Louis, Missouri, where winter seems to have already arrived, but over at Jim Edmonds' new mansion, it's a perfect day for baseball. The ex-MLB star, who recently split from The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King Edmonds after five years of marriage and moved into the home that they were building together over the past two years, installed a batting cage in the property's basement so that he and his children could enjoy pitching balls all year long.
His youngest children, twin boys Hayes and Hart Edmonds, were born in June 2018, so the baseball recruiters aren't exactly calling them just yet, but they're already getting their practice time in at home.
If baseball doesn't turn out to be the boys' favorite sport, there's also a two-lane bowling alley and a basketball court inside the mansion to inspire them. Jim broke in the bowling alley earlier this week with his eldest son, Landon Edmonds, and Landon's friend during what Jim called a "Boys' Night In" on his Stories.
For now, Hayes and Hart seem to be using the baseball bats like golf clubs.
"Maybe not pitchers yet," Jim joked, as he shot video of them playing around for his Instagram Stories.
This area is definitely #playroomgoals for toddlers!
