Nearly a Year After Putting It on the Market, Gina Kirschenheiter Finally Sells Her Coto de Caza Home
The Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer is eager to let the property go.
UPDATE: Gina Kirschenheiter and her soon-to-be ex-husband Matt are officially moving on from their family home. After originally listing the Coto de Caza property in June of 2018 for $975,000, the former couple sold the house last week for $875,000. While they got $100,000 less than their asking price, they didn't lose money, since they bought the home for $840,000 in 2016.

Savvy real estate buyers have the opportunity right now to purchase two different homes from The Real Housewives of Orange County cast members in the exclusive gated community of Coto de Caza. RHOC alum Jeana Keough, herself a real estate agent, has just listed her custom estate, while newcomer Gina Kirschenheiter has put her starter family home on the market — again!
Last summer, Gina filed for divorce from her husband, Matt Kirschenheiter, and the former couple listed their Coto de Caza home for sale for $975,000. They then pulled it off the market in the fall, citing a lack of buyer interest.
"I decided to take my house off the market because nobody wanted to buy it," she told Home & Design at the time. "It was just kind of sitting. I think I missed that window — where we are it’s super suburban and people need to be in their houses where they’re gonna be to time it with kids going to school, and I really should have put it up in the spring, and I put it up in the summer and I think it was just too late. We really weren’t getting any traction and we thought rather than just let it idle we’ll just take it down, and then we are gonna put it back up this spring. I want to sell it, I want a fresh start."
Now, Gina has her fresh start! She's moved into a new pad with the help of her ex and his dad, and the old family home that we saw on season 13 of RHOC is back on the market for $975,000. The 2,208 square foot property includes four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a three-car tandem garage, travertine flooring, a gourmet kitchen fully stocked with Viking stainless steel appliances, and a big backyard with a built-in BBQ for entertaining.
Who's ready to shell out a cool mill for it?
